Target and Walmart Are Now Live on CardSnipers

CardSnipers now has live retailer coverage from Target and Walmart, alongside the existing TCGPlayer pipeline. That gives collectors a stronger real-world picture of where sealed products are actually available.

This matters because stock checking is only useful if it reflects the shelves people are actually shopping. Adding more live retailers means fewer blind spots, fewer manual tabs, and better odds of catching something before it disappears.

What changed

  • Firecrawl integration is working, which unlocked the current Target and Walmart scraping path.
  • Walmart is now effectively live and updating tracked products in production.
  • Target is now effectively live, with corrected parsing so product pages show the right price.
  • Public status messaging is now honest, so the site reflects what is actually live instead of outdated assumptions.

What this means for collectors

CardSnipers is becoming more useful as a real buying tool, not just a nice concept. When multiple live retailers feed the same product view, you can compare availability faster and trust that the tracker reflects the current market more accurately.

It also means the status page is more meaningful now. Instead of vague retailer promises, CardSnipers can show which integrations are actively contributing fresh data and which ones still need work.

What's still not done

  1. Amazon is still limited because the compliant access path remains blocked by affiliate/API constraints.
  2. eBay is still not production-ready, even though integration code exists.
  3. Coverage quality still matters, so matching and parsing will keep getting tightened where needed.

TL;DR: Target and Walmart now contribute real live coverage on CardSnipers, which makes the tracker more credible and more useful for actual buying decisions.
